Senior Product Management Engineer

Position Overview

Seeking a Senior Subject Matter Expert to deliver comprehensive OSS solutions for telco network operations, specializing in inventory, topology, performance, and fault management across core RAN transport, IP backbone, radio access networks, access infrastructure, and mobile core networks.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Delivery & Stakeholder Management

               •  Deliver end-to-end OSS solutions for telco ecosystem components while collaborating with internal stakeholders including telco operators and network planners

               •  Manage Proof of Concepts (PoCs) for new OSS opportunities, defining objectives and demonstrating operational value

               •  Provide pre-sales technical support for RFI/RFPs with emphasis on telco OSS integration

Technical Documentation & Integration

               •  Prepare comprehensive technical documentation: HLD, LLD, User Guides, Integration Documents, and Solution Description Documents

               •   Integrate Element Management Systems (EMS), Network Management Systems (NMS), and telco network equipment with OSS platforms

               •      Validate OSS modules, conduct network demonstrations, and manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT) submissions

Requirements Modelling & Automation

               •            Model telco requirements into OSS and automation layers, translating network needs across radio, access, core, and transport into operational support systems

               •            Support Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and project delivery processes while adhering to telco audit standards

Essential Requirements

Experience & Education

               •  10-15 years as SME in modelling telco requirements into OSS and automation layers

               •   Experience at leading OSS platform providers with advanced telco-grade OSS frameworks

               •   Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or equivalent

Technical Expertise:

       •  Deep understanding of telco data models for network inventory, performance, and fault management across mobile and fixed networks

              • Extensive experience with telco-grade network equipment: routers, switches, radio access nodes, and core network elements from multiple vendors

            • Proficiency in telco network technologies: MPLS-based transport, L2/L3 VPN services, VPLS, EVPN, 4G/5G radio access, mobile core services

               • Expert knowledge of dynamic routing protocols and radio/core network signaling within telco OSS frameworks

Integration & Protocols

               •   Hands-on experience with telco management protocols and APIs: SNMP, Netconf, Restconf, RestAPI, gNMI, FTP, Corba NBI, SOAP API, SSH

               •  Comprehensive understanding of telco networking concepts: Radio, Core (voice & packet), IMS, LAN/WAN, firewall environments, multicast architectures

               •      Experience designing and integrating telco networks into OSS layers using automation tools

Project Management

               •   Lead 2-3 small to medium-scale projects with high business value

               •  Cross-functional technical leadership with focus on on-time delivery and process improvement

               •     Strong analytical abilities and communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement

Preferred Qualifications

Advanced Technical Skills

               •  Experience with data centre networks and SDN/NFV technologies in telco OSS contexts

               •   Proficiency in monitoring tools: VMware, Prometheus, Grafana, Elasticsearch, Nagios, Datadog

               •   Shell scripting and Python programming for OSS automation and data model development

Project Management Tools

               •   Expertise in Jira, Microsoft Project Server, SharePoint, Teams, and Microsoft Office Professional

               •   Knowledge of project management methodologies tailored to telco OSS deployments

         • Experience in end-to-end OSS project oversight with expertise in time, resource, and cost estimation
