Role Purpose We’re looking for a passionate and strategic Senior Product Designer to join our fast-growing team, with a strong focus on design research, AI-augmented design workflows, and merchant-first experience design. You’ll own end-to-end product experiences — from insight to implementation — and help shape intuitive, delightful journeys for millions of Indian merchants. This role blends deep user empathy, data-backed decision-making, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to drive design impact across Pine Labs’ online products. Responsibilities We Entrust You With Drive end-to-end design for complex merchant-facing products — from discovery to detailed UI. Conduct pre-build design and market research using qualitative and quantitative methods to define problem spaces and opportunities. Leverage AI-powered design tools and workflows for faster ideation, prototyping, and testing. Translate merchant needs, insights, and behaviors into intuitive and scalable product experiences. Create and deliver high-fidelity mockups, interaction flows, and prototypes that are implementation-ready. Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, marketing, and research teams to build consistent and high-impact solutions. Present design strategy, explorations, and outcomes to leadership and stakeholders. Define and track experience metrics to validate impact post-launch. What Matters In This Role Relevant work experience 5–9 years of experience in product/UX/UI design across mobile and web platforms. Demonstrated strength in design research, competitor benchmarking, and user persona creation. Proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe CC); experience with AI-based tools is a strong plus. Strong understanding of usability principles, accessibility, and interaction design patterns. Experience designing for complex workflows, preferably in fintech, SaaS, or enterprise products. Ability to create design documentation and style guides that scale across teams. A compelling portfolio showcasing end-to-end product design, with emphasis on research-backed decisions. Prior experience designing for merchant apps, payment workflows, or B2B commerce platforms. Familiarity with AI and ML-powered UX personalization or automation. Exposure to analytics tools like Hotjar, Mixpanel, or Google Analytics for design validation. Comfortable working in agile, fast-paced environments with evolving priorities.
