About The Role
We are looking for an experienced
Senior Process Associate – US Payroll
who has strong hands-on expertise in managing
end-to-end US payroll processing
. The ideal candidate should possess in-depth knowledge of US payroll regulations, compliance, tax withholdings, and multi-state payroll processing. The role requires accuracy, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to timely and error-free payroll delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle end-to-end US payroll processing including data validation, payroll run, reconciliations, and disbursements.
- Ensure accurate calculation of wages, deductions, bonuses, overtime, and benefits as per federal and state laws.
- Process and reconcile multi-state payrolls and handle employee tax setups, garnishments, and adjustments.
- Manage and maintain employee payroll records with high confidentiality and accuracy.
- Coordinate with internal HR, Finance, and Compliance teams for payroll inputs and issue resolution.
- Perform pre- and post-payroll audits to ensure compliance with internal controls and statutory regulations.
- Generate and review payroll reports, journal entries, and accounting reconciliations.
- Support year-end payroll activities such as W-2 and W-4 processing.
- Stay updated on changes in US payroll laws and taxation to ensure compliance.
- Handle queries and issue resolution related to payroll discrepancies in a timely and professional manner.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5–8 years of hands-on experience in US payroll processing (end-to-end).
- Strong knowledge of US payroll laws, including FLSA, FICA, FUTA, and state regulations.
- Experience working with payroll software (such as ADP, Paycom, UltiPro, or similar platforms).
- Proficiency in MS Excel and data management.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and meet tight deadlines.
