You will help Genpact build automation solutions which are scalable and consistent across global deployment.
Responsibilities:
Infrastructure Management: Responsible for both on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure.
Troubleshooting: Possess deep expertise in troubleshooting.
Automation: Expertise in automation.
System Administration: Enterprise-level system administration.
Agile & Change Management: Experience with Agile workflows and enterprise change management.
AWS Infrastructure: Deploy and maintain shared platform team assets (e.g., ECS clusters, ALBs) and unique infrastructure assets.
Cost Containment: Minimize service operational costs and perform cost analysis.
Capacity Planning: Conduct capacity analysis, right-size domain assets, and leverage automation.
Monitoring: Define SLOs, coordinate deployment quality objectives, and implement service monitoring.
Performance Optimization: Develop performance measurement techniques and improve service efficiency.
Incident Management: Provide on-call support and drive service restoration.
Security: Implement InfoSec-recommended patterns and monitor anomalies.
NOC Services: Establish targeted alerting and predefined NOC response procedures.
Monitoring & Alerting: Develop and maintain monitoring and alerting systems.
Incident Response: Manage the incident response lifecycle.
Operational Tasks: Automate operational tasks for efficiency.
On-call: Participate in on-call rotations.PerformanceTesting: Design performance testing and capacity planning strategies.
Collaboration: Collaborate across teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
Technical Proficiencies:
Cloud Technologies: AWS native load balancers, AWS EC2, ECS, EKS, Containers, Terraform.
Monitoring & Observability: Splunk Cloud Observability, CloudWatch.
DevOps & Automation: CI/CD, Jenkins, Automation with Python.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills.
Cloud Platforms: Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, GCP.
IaC Tools: Terraform or CloudFormation.
Programming Languages: Python, Java, C/C++, Go, JavaScript, or Ruby.
Log Aggregation: Splunk, ELK, or SumoLogic.
Monitoring Tools: SignalFx, Datadog, Dynatrace, AppDynamics.
Experience: Prior roles in SRE, Software Engineering, or Production Engineering.
Passion: Passion for learning and improving systems.
Interest: Interest in SLIs, SLOs, resilience, scaling, system Design and performance.
Desired Qualifications:
Distributed Systems: Experience with large-scale distributed systems.
Configuration Management: Familiarity with Terraform, Puppet, Ansible.
CI/CD & DevOps: Experience with Git, Jenkins, Docker, Nexus, Artifactory, Selenium.
Cloud Security: Knowledge of cloud security practices. tools: - Terraform, Puppet, Ansible
Experience with CI/CD and DevOps toolchain: - Git, Jenkins, Docker, Nexus, Artifactory, Selenium
Knowledge of cloud security practices, including: - Intrusion detection - Penetration testing
