Responsibilities

• Lead the full software development lifecycle from concept and design to deployment and maintenance.
• Architect, design, develop, and productionize highly scalable, resilient, and performant microservices and API-based applications. You'll be instrumental in implementing Hexagonal Architecture and other modern architectural principles.
• Develop and productionize API frameworks to ensure consistency, security, and reusability across all our services.
• Mentor and coach a team of talented engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, psychological safety, and continuous improvement. We believe in empowering our people, not managing them with an authoritarian "stick and carrot" approach.
• Provide technical oversight and guidance to ensure timely delivery of high-quality applications within an Agile Scrum framework.
• Act as a hands-on problem-solver, navigating ambiguity and unstructured situations to drive projects to successful completion.
• Champion best practices in code quality, system design, and security.
• Explore and leverage AI to optimize workflows, maximize throughput, and elevate the quality of our engineering work, with a specific focus on Agentic AI.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and operations.
  

Qualifications And Experience

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in developing complex, scalable software applications.
• Proven expertise in designing, developing, and productionizing APIs and API frameworks.
• In-depth understanding and practical experience with Hexagonal Architecture principles.
• Strong, diverse programming background with experience across multiple technologies such as Laravel (PHP), Python, Node.js, and Scala.
• Solid grasp of architectural principles and design patterns.
• Demonstrated experience working in and leading teams within an Agile Scrum environment.
• Knowledge and experience with Agentic AI and its application in software development.
• M.Tech/M.E. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a relevant discipline. Alternatively, a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) or a B.E./B.Tech with exceptional and demonstrated experience may also be considered.
• A strong plus: A history of participating in and winning programming skills hackathon challenges.
