Duties & Responsibilities
Design, development, and deployment of Power BI dashboards and reportsExpertise in SQL based data models and queriesCreate advanced Excel reports and visualizations using pivot tables, Power Pivot, and cube functionsBuild and maintain OLAP cube connections for Excel-based analysisCollaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutionsEnsure data accuracy, consistency, and performance across reporting systemsFollow best practices for Power BI and Excel reporting, governance, and version controlStay current with BI trends and recommend tools and techniques to enhance reporting capabilitiesRequirementsBasic Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field4+ years of experience in business intelligence, data engineering, or analyticsExpert-level proficiency in Power BI (DAX, Power Query, data modeling, visualization)Advanced SQL skills for data extraction, transformation, and performance tuningAdvanced Excel skills including pivot tables, Power Pivot, cube formulas, and OLAP integrationExperience working with large datasets and complex data environmentsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsAbility to lead projects and deliver results in a fast-paced environmentProficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git / SVNPreferred QualificationsExperience with cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and tools (e.g., Snowflake)Knowledge of Python or R for data analysisCertification in Power BI, Excel, or related technologies
