Senior Power BI Engineer

As a Power BI Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining interactive and insightful Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations to meet the business requirements. Your expertise in SQL will be vital in optimizing queries for data extraction and transformation, while your strong problem-solving skills will enable you to provide advanced analytical insights through Power BI DAX calculations. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and visualizations for business needs. - Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and transformation. - Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. - Create and manage data models within Power BI to ensure data accuracy and reliability. - Develop and maintain Power BI DAX calculations for advanced analytical insights. - Integrate data from multiple sources to create a consolidated reporting framework. - Ensure performance optimization of dashboards for efficient data analysis. - Support troubleshooting and debugging of Power BI reports and data-related issues. - Provide documentation and training for end-users to promote self-service analytics. - Work closely with cross-functional teams for seamless integration of data and insights. Required Skills And Qualifications: - 68 years of experience in developing Power BI reports and dashboards. - Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries for data analysis. - Hands-on experience with Power BI DAX for advanced calculations. - Strong knowledge of relational databases and data modeling principles. - Familiarity with ETL processes and data integration techniques. - Ability to work on large datasets and provide actionable insights. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach. - Experience with Azure Data Factory, SSIS, or other data integration tools (preferred). - Understanding of Agile methodologies and collaboration in fast-paced environments.
