The DBA is responsible for the management of multiple database systems. They will provide support for Oracle databases on Red Hat Linux VMs on Azure, as well as SQL Server databases on Azure VMs and Azure SQL Managed Instances. This includes appropriate backup procedures for both minor data losses as well as for complete disaster recovery, developer and user support, database tuning, security, and general maintenance of the systems.
