Power Bi Developer

Role Summary:

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of Power BI dashboards and reports
  
• Expertise in SQL based data models and queries
  
• Create advanced Excel reports and visualizations using pivot tables, Power Pivot, and cube functions
  
• Build and maintain OLAP cube connections for Excel-based analysis
  
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and performance across reporting systems
  
• Establish best practices for Power BI and Excel reporting, governance, and version control
  
• Mentor and guide junior BI engineers and analysts
  
• Stay current with BI trends and recommend tools and techniques to enhance reporting capabilities
  

What you Bring to the Table:

• Design, develop and implement business and technical features.
  
• Work with Architects to ensure the system is implemented as designed and in adherence with development guidelines and security standards.
  
• Partner with business, Product teams and other domain architects to translate business requirements and vision into core eCommerce functions.
  
• Create and evolve application documentation as required.
  
• Ensure that technical solutions follow best practices, are reliable and are easily maintainable

Basic Qualification:

• Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
  
• 6+ years of experience in business intelligence, data engineering, or analytics
  
• Expert-level proficiency in Power BI (DAX, Power Query, data modeling, visualization)
  
• Advanced SQL skills for data extraction, transformation, and performance tuning
  
• Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, Power Pivot, cube formulas, and OLAP integration
  
• Experience working with large datasets and complex data environments
  
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  
• Ability to lead projects and deliver results in a fast-paced environment
  
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git / SVN
  

Preferred Qualification:

• Experience with cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)
  
• Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and tools (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift)
  
• Knowledge of Python or R for data analysis
  
• Certification in Power BI, Excel, or related technologies
