Senior Power BI Engineer

In this role as a Power Bi professional with Fabric expertise at GlobalLogic, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining Power BI reports and dashboards to derive actionable insights from assessment data. Your key responsibilities will include: - Working with data from Company's established ETL processes and other sources - Creating and optimizing data models within Power BI for accuracy and performance - Applying innovative visualization techniques to effectively communicate assessment analytics - Deploying and maintaining Power BI reports in a Microsoft Fabric environment - Collaborating with product management to prioritize deliveries and design improvements - Reviewing new analytics and reporting technologies with the product team - Understanding data context and reporting requirements with subject matter experts - Maintaining technical documentation and source control related to project design and implementation Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in computer science, analytics, or related field, or equivalent work experience - Minimum of 5 years of experience working with Power BI and Power Query, loading data from Azure and SharePoint - Strong DAX skills for writing complex calculations and statistical operations - Proficiency in data modeling including star and snowflake schema - Experience implementing row-level security and dynamic row-level security in Power BI reports - Familiarity with Power BI report performance optimization techniques - Practical experience with Azure SQL or similar databases for data exploration - Excellent communication skills and numerical abilities - Understanding of data protection principles - Ability to self-organize, prioritize tasks, and work collaboratively at all levels Preferred qualifications include experience in Python or R for analysis, familiarity with advanced charting technologies, knowledge of assessment data and psychometric principles, experience with Azure, and familiarity with Agile development practices.
