Senior PLC and Robotics Programmer Location: Mohali, Punjab Type: Full-Time About the Role We are hiring an experienced Senior PLC & Robotics Programmer to join our automation team. The ideal candidate must have strong hands-on experience in PLC programming, industrial robotics, troubleshooting, and commissioning for custom automation and production systems. Key Responsibilities Develop, test, and implement PLC programs (Siemens / Allen-Bradley / Mitsubishi) Program & integrate industrial robots (Fanuc, ABB, KUKA, Yaskawa) Work with electrical & mechanical design teams for control architecture development Perform on-site commissioning, debugging, and system optimization Integrate PLCs with HMIs, sensors, vision systems, and other automation hardware Maintain documentation: ladder logic, function blocks, robot paths, wiring layouts Ensure compliance with industrial safety standards Provide training to maintenance & production teams Required Skills & Experience Minimum 5+ years experience in PLC programming and industrial automation Strong knowledge of ladder logic, structured text, and function block programming Experience in robot programming (path teaching, payload setup, safety zones) Familiarity with communication protocols: Ethernet/IP, Profinet, Modbus, OPC UA Ability to read electrical schematics & mechanical drawings Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills Willingness to travel for commissioning Qualifications Diploma or Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics / Automation Engineering PLC/Robot certifications (preferred but not mandatory) Preferred Knowledge of SCADA & Industry 4.0 Experience with vision inspection systems & servo motion control Exposure to SPMs, robotic inspection, or high-speed automation lines How to Apply Interested candidates can send their resume to: sonia.d@braindomain.co
