Job Description

Role - Senior Operations Manager and EA to the Director

Location - Kochi

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Masters / Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Engineering, or a related field. .
  • 7–12 years of Telecom Operations experience with a vendor/operator environment.
  • Knowledge of various telecom equipments

Role and Responsibilities

Strategic Operational Leadership

  • Work closely with the Director to plan, execute, and monitor operational strategies across Telecom I&C, RAN/BTS Rollout, Fiber/OFC, O&M and other projects.
  • Take ownership of high-priority projects and act as the primary operational lead in Director’s absence.
  • Review daily operational metrics, analyse project risks, and implement corrective actions.

Project Governance & Performance Management

  • Ensure all deliverables—including site rollout, integration, testing, O&M KPIs—are met as per client SLAs.
  • Drive productivity, resource optimization, and adherence to quality and safety standards.
  • Conduct weekly project reviews and present clear performance insights to the Director.

High-Level Client Interaction

  • Attend client meetings, conference calls, and technical reviews representing the Director when required.
  • Build strong relationships with client operations teams, cluster heads, and project managers.
  • Handle escalations, negotiate timelines, and ensure client satisfaction through proactive communication.

Meeting Management & Decision Support

  • Lead internal meetings, prepare agendas, and drive outcome-based discussions with cross-functional teams.
  • Prepare and circulate MOMs with clear action points and deadlines.
  • Provide data-backed decision support to the Director—MIS dashboards, financial updates, vendor status, etc.

Process Improvement & Compliance

  • Implement process enhancements for faster rollout, better O&M performance, and cost efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with telecom operator guidelines, safety standards, and contractual obligations.
  • Standardize documentation practices including DPRs, O&M logs, PAC/RFI/BOQ submissions, and site readiness protocols.

Administrative & Executive Support

  • Manage Director’s calendar, priorities, and key decision pipelines.
  • Assist in business proposals, cost estimations, tender submissions, and project planning.
  • Act as a bridge between Director, Operations, HR, Finance, and Field Teams to ensure seamless coordination.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹70,000.00 per month
