About the Role We are seeking a proactive SEO Executive to drive organic growth for Ekya Schools digital properties. You will be responsible for optimizing our web assets (25+ properties, including Ekya Early Years and CMR Group institutions) to attract progressive parents seeking K-12 education. Your work will directly impact brand visibility, organic traffic, and admissions inquiries through data-driven SEO strategies. Key Responsibilities 1. Keyword Strategy & Content Optimization Identify, track, and prioritize high-intent search queries (e.g., "best CBSE school in Bangalore," "project-based learning schools"). Build and execute a core SEO plan for assigned web properties, aligning with Ekya’s "World Beyond Boundaries" brand ethos. Collaborate with content teams to develop optimized articles, blogs, and landing pages (e.g., "How Ekya’s Design Thinking Curriculum Prepares Future Leaders"). 2. Technical SEO & Website Performance Audit and improve technical SEO elements: Page load speed, mobile responsiveness, and structured data. Interlinking, backlinking, and nofollow tag management. Work with developers to enhance UX (e.g., faster media playback, intuitive navigation). 3. Multi-Platform Optimization Ensure SEO best practices across: Google My Business: Optimized descriptions, visual assets (correct aspect ratios). Third-party listings (SchoolMyKids, EducationWorld). YouTube/Videos: Keyword-rich descriptions, transcripts, and thumbnails. 4. Data-Driven Reporting Track KPIs using Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMRush/Ahrefs: MoM organic traffic growth. Keyword rankings (e.g., "Ekya vs. Oakridge"). Bounce rate reduction and backlink acquisition. 5. Collaboration & Compliance Partner with design teams to ensure visuals adhere to brand guidelines. Review PR/articles to secure do follow backlinks from authoritative sites. Requirements Experience: 1–3 years in SEO/content marketing, preferably in education or edtech.

Role Purpose: The role will involve working very closely with the Head of Admission and Marcomm and will broadly will require the person to: Drives student enrolment to reach or exceed target numbers Informs and executes the school sales and marketing strategy Manages the admissions procedures ensuring all students are registered in accordance with the schools regulatory policies. Any other task that may be assigned Key Relationships (Internal and External): The Admission Counsellor is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with new and prospective parents, visitors to the school, Admission Counsellor and Senior Leadership, Central Office Marketing and Admissions team and other departments as required, and other external bodies or outside agencies as required. Roles and Responsibilities: Marketing and Sales Accountable for driving student enrolments in order to meet or exceed (daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly/yearly) targets as set for the academic year. Work closely with the central Admission and Marcomm team to execute the Sales, PR and Marketing strategy for the school aimed at prospective parents. Organise and run external Marketing events, including Open Days, aimed at driving enrolments, in accordance with the agreed calendar and strategy. Presenting a positive impression of the school in all interactions with families, whether by telephone, face to face or in writing. Be the key point of contact for prospective parents from first contact with the school until the student’s first day. Manage all placement tests or interviews for new entrants to school and collate results. Arrange the placement of students in classes with the approval of the Head of Admission and Marcomm. and Coordinators. Manage wait lists and ensure the school’s admissions policy is transparent and adhered to. Liaise with the in-campus accounts team to issue invoices for new students and ensure that all data is current on Leadsquared/Zoho. Manage the initial induction of new families and students, including answering all questions in a professional and in a timely manner, providing support and advice. Qualifications and Professional Background Must possess a relevant Bachelor’s degree. Must have a minimum of 4-5 year’s experience in Customer Service Sales ideally in a service provider industry. Experience in the Education sector is preferred but not essential. Required Core Competencies include: Proven work experience in Sales Excellent verbal and written communication skills Effective communicator at different levels, both orally and in writing Ability to form effective customer relationships and close sales Interpersonal skills, able to operate in a multicultural environment.
