Senior Operations Manager

Role Overview: You will be the Senior Manager - Operations responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company in the IPDRG department located in Chennai (WFO). Your role will involve streamlining processes, managing a team, optimizing productivity, and ensuring smooth operational execution. Strong leadership skills, operational expertise, and the ability to drive efficiency improvements will be key to your success in this position. Key Responsibilities: - Oversee daily operational activities to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. - Monitor and improve performance metrics such as cost control, productivity, quality, and on-time delivery. - Identify operational issues and implement proactive solutions. - Develop and implement operational strategies to achieve short-term and long-term business goals. Team Leadership: - Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of operational staff. - Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and training programs. - Foster a positive work environment and ensure adherence to company policies. Process Optimization: - Analyze workflows and processes, identifying areas for improvement. - Implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction. - Utilize technology and systems for automation and streamlining operations. Quality Assurance: - Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for tracking quality and operational standards. - Ensure adherence to company quality policies and regulatory requirements. - Resolve customer issues promptly to ensure satisfaction. Cross-Department Collaboration: - Work closely with Sales, HR, Finance, etc. for smooth collaboration and alignment of business objectives. - Assist in forecasting and planning to meet operational demands and business needs. Reporting & Analysis: - Prepare regular reports on operational performance, including productivity, costs, and quality. - Present analysis and recommendations to senior management for strategic decision-making. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree or a master's degree or relevant certifications is a plus. - 13+ years of experience in operations management in US healthcare (Medical Coding). - Proven track record of managing teams, driving process improvements, and achieving operational goals. - Strong leadership, problem-solving, decision-making, organizational, and communication skills. - Proficiency in operational management tools and software, budgeting, financial management, and adaptability to changing business needs.
