Role Overview:

As a Production Merchandiser, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end product lifecycle. You will be the vital link between the design team, vendors, and factories, ensuring that quality, timelines, and costing align with QUA’s brand standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Production Planning & Coordination:

   Manage the Time & Action (TNA) calendar for each style and ensure timely approvals and deliveries across all stages of production.

• Vendor & Supplier Management:

   Liaise with vendors, mills, and factories to ensure raw material availability, quality standards, and adherence to production timelines.

• Costing & Negotiation:

   Work on product costing, fabric consumption, and vendor negotiations to ensure profitability and margin alignment.

• Quality Oversight

  : Collaborate with the quality team to ensure all products meet QUA’s quality standards, both during sampling and final production.

• Inventory Coordination:

   Track raw material requirements, monitor consumption, and coordinate with warehouse or production partners for stock planning.

• Reporting & Documentation:

   Maintain detailed reports on production status, timelines, vendor performance, and costing.

• Cross-functional Collaboration:

   Work closely with the design, sourcing, warehouse, and finance teams to ensure smooth execution of seasonal drops.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience

   in production merchandising, preferably in women’s fashion or premium apparel brands.
• Strong knowledge of fabric types, garment construction, costing, and vendor ecosystems.
• Proven experience in managing multi-vendor production setups and adhering to tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in using tools like Excel, Google Sheets, and production planning software.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment with a solution-driven mindset.
