*Job Summary:*

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in the design and development of Special Purpose Machinery (SPM), coupled with advanced proficiency in SolidWorks 2023. This role requires a proactive individual with a proven ability to conceptualize, design, analyze, and document complex mechanical systems. The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for leading design projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the delivery of innovative and efficient SPM solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the complete mechanical design lifecycle of Special Purpose Machinery (SPM) projects, from initial concept to final implementation.
• Develop detailed 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks 2023, adhering to industry best practices and company standards.
• Perform thorough engineering calculations and analyses (e.g., stress, strain, thermal, kinematic) to ensure the functionality, safety, and reliability of designs.
• Generate and maintain comprehensive design documentation, including bills of materials (BOMs), assembly procedures, and technical specifications.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, controls engineers, manufacturing personnel, and project managers, to ensure seamless integration of mechanical designs.
• Participate in design reviews, providing constructive feedback and implementing necessary design modifications.
• Identify and resolve design-related issues and challenges during the development and manufacturing phases.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in mechanical design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes relevant to SPM.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of design standards, processes, and tools.
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior mechanical design engineers.
• Occasionally travel to vendor or customer sites as required.

*Qualifications:*

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in mechanical design, with a significant focus on Special Purpose Machinery (SPM).
• Proven expertise in using SolidWorks 2023 for 3D modelling, assembly design, and 2D drafting (candidates should be prepared to demonstrate their proficiency).
• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, including machine design, kinematics, statics, dynamics, and material science.
• Experience with finite element analysis (FEA) or other simulation tools is a plus.
• Familiarity with various manufacturing processes, such as machining, fabrication, welding, and assembly.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
• Have to done System Integration with help of Pneumatic, Hydraulic, PLC, SCADA, and Servo & Vision Sensors as per requirement of customer application.

*Preferred Skills:*

• Experience with PDM/PLM systems (e.g., SolidWorks 2023).
• Knowledge of automation and control systems relevant to SPM.
• Experience with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
• Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations.

Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹900,000.00 per year
