Job Title: Research and Development (R&D) Officer Department: Research & Development Location: [Pitampura Delhi] Job Type: Full-time Job Summary: The R&D Officer is responsible for conducting research, developing new products or processes, and improving existing ones to support the company’s innovation and growth strategies. This role involves close collaboration with production, marketing, and quality control teams to ensure successful implementation and market readiness of new developments. Key Responsibilities: Conduct scientific or market research to support new product development and innovation initiatives. Develop prototypes, conduct trials, and validate results through rigorous testing. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, quality assurance, and marketing. Analyze data and technical specifications to recommend improvements or cost-saving opportunities. Maintain detailed documentation of research, experiments, and development processes. Ensure that new products meet all regulatory, safety, and quality standards. Stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and competitor products. Assist in drafting product manuals, testing protocols, and technical reports. Contribute to intellectual property protection efforts such as patents or trade secrets. Requirements: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or a related field. 1–3 years of experience in an R&D or laboratory environment (entry-level acceptable for junior roles). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in using research tools, software, and laboratory equipment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines. Preferred Skills: Knowledge of ISO standards, regulatory compliance (e.g., FDA, CE, etc.), and quality systems. Familiarity with statistical tools and data analysis software.
