R&D Executive

As a Formulation Development Scientist, your role will involve developing and optimizing skincare and cosmetic product formulations based on brand briefs, market trends, and performance goals. This includes creating various products such as creams, gels, serums, lotions, balms, masks, and color cosmetics. You will be conducting physical, chemical, and microbiological stability studies to ensure product safety and efficacy throughout shelf life. Additionally, you will prepare lab-scale and pilot batches, record detailed trial reports, and assist in process optimization for manufacturing scale-up. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and optimize formulations for skincare and cosmetic products based on brand briefs, market trends, and performance goals. - Conduct physical, chemical, and microbiological stability studies to ensure product safety and efficacy. - Prepare lab-scale and pilot batches, record detailed trial reports, and assist in process optimization. - Identify and evaluate new ingredients and actives, ensuring alignment with global regulatory norms and brand philosophy. - Maintain comprehensive formulation documents, product specifications, COAs, MSDS, and technical dossiers for each product. - Collaborate with production, quality, packaging, and marketing teams to ensure successful product development and launches. - Stay updated on global beauty trends, novel actives, and sustainable formulation practices. Qualifications Required: - B.Pharm / M.Pharm / M.Sc. in Cosmetic Technology, Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related discipline. - Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in R&D within a skincare/cosmetics manufacturing environment. - Strong technical knowledge of emulsions, surfactants, active delivery systems, preservatives, and pH balancing. - Proficient in lab equipment operations and basic data analysis. - Knowledge of GMP, GLP, and safety practices. - Excellent attention to detail, documentation, and time management skills. Please note that experience with natural, ayurvedic, vegan, or luxury skincare and color cosmetics is a strong advantage for this role.,
