Senior Manager - VMO

Job Description:

12-15 Years of total professional experience in vendor management, strategic sourcing, or procurement governance, ideally in IT, shared services, or GCC environments

Minimum 5 years in a leadership or managerial capacity, directly leading VMO, sourcing operations, or vendor governance teams

Strong experience in designing and executing end-to-end vendor governance models - from partner onboarding to offboarding

Demonstrated ability to manage large third-party vendor ecosystems across functions (e.g., IT, Finance, Operations, Analytics)

Experience handling high-value contracts, managing renewal cycles, and supporting audit readiness

Exposure to working in matrixed global environments and supporting vendor performance for offshore delivery centers

Required Skills:

Strong understanding of end-to-end vendor lifecycle including onboarding, due diligence, contract execution, and offboarding

Expertise in setting up VMO processes, tools, dashboards, and service level governance frameworks

Proficiency in vendor performance tracking, audit compliance, and reporting

Experience with vendor spend optimization, rate rationalization, and commercial negotiations

Strong working knowledge of vendor risk assessment, regulatory compliance, and data privacy in a global sourcing context

Excellent stakeholder management skills with experience collaborating across global functions and external service providers

Ability to develop playbooks, process maps, and compliance checklists for governance and operational consistency

Desired Skills:

Experience using tools like SAP, ServiceNow, or other vendor/contract management systems

Knowledge of ITIL, ITSM frameworks, or ISO standards for vendor-related processes

Experience managing India-specific regulatory risks for third-party workforce

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹2,900,000.00 - ₹4,200,000.00 per year
