The position

As the Senior Manager of the RareD GBS Commercial Team, you will:
Lead the RareD GBS commercial team, ensuring alignment of sub-functional strategies with organisational objectives and the vision for Rare Disease therapy. Drive team engagement, talent development, and capability building while fostering collaboration with RareD FinCE/Market Access and GBS.
  • Oversee Access & Pricing functions, supporting, HEOR & payer evidence generation, and access and pricing evaluation for early pipeline asset strategies. Drive access & pricing activities as part of mature products lifecycle management.
  • Guide the Commercial Excellence team in enabling business performance through forecasting, commercial execution, supporting frontline, and translation of data-driven insights into actionable strategies.
  • Ensure high-quality deliverables aligned with functional strategies and operational excellence across all sub-functions.
  • Actively participate in RareD department leadership team meetings, contributing to planning and execution of strategic priorities.
  • Cultivate a cohesive and inclusive community for RareD colleagues in GBS, driving engagement and integration.

Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:
  • A masters degree in Commercial, Business Management or a related field.
  • 8+ years experience in pharmaceutical domain (preferably in commercial access and pricing domains and preferably with prior people management experience).
  • Proven people leadership experience with an empathetic, coaching, and partnership-oriented style.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across diverse audiences and cultures.
  • Strong problem-solving, conflict resolution, and decision-making abilities in ambiguous environments.
  • A solution-focused mindset with a practical approach to execution.
  • Ability to influence without direct positional power and navigate organizational complexities.
  • Experience in driving functional and operational excellence within a global organization.
  • Passion for innovation and engaging effectively at all levels of the organisation.
