5 Days working. 5th Saturday working Nearby station- Churchgate / CST Key competencies: 1. Import Clearance 2. Outward Movement of Material (Within India) 3. People Management 4. Inventory Management 5. Infrastructure Management 6. Supplier Partner Communication. ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB 1. Have experience of managing movement of Cargo within India 2. Good knowledge on various transport companies & assessment of their territorial strengths. 3. Handle import inward movement of cargo 4. Plan & monitor inward & outward movement of cargo 5. Handle clearance cost especially shipping liners, cost & CFS cost. 6. Booking & Freight negotiation with shipping lines/ forwarders for all imports & exports. 7. Coordinating & controlling all regional warehouses & resolve any issues. 8. Entire coordination& documentation for local sales, warehousing import to India. 9. Inventory management in all these warehouses safety & security of the materials against any casualty, fire hazards & theft. All insurance should be in place. 10. Strategic cost reduction techniques for hamalis, CHA & CFS, Shipping liners etc for complete logistics & operational efficiency. 11. Handle all systems & logistics reports 12. Complete coordination with suppliers from all over the world for movement of goods & also checking the consignments if required. 13. Manage & ensure safe port operations. 14. To be responsible for all warehouses (safety & security) & offices at all locations (leased) 15. Further addition & deletion of responsibilities as per mutual understanding.
