About the Team: You will be a part of the Flipkart Legal team which comprises of dynamic lawyers with varied experience of handling various complex issues and supporting different business verticals from B2C (e-Commerce), B2B (Wholesale), Travel, Health Real Estate, Supply Chain and matters relating to Data protection, IP, Litigations & disputes, Labour & Employment. About the role: This position will be for Senior Manager - II (Grade 12), reporting to Associate Director and will be a part of the B2B legal vertical of Flipkart legal team. You are responsible for: Support on contract drafting, review and negotiations for a variety of agreements, including but not limited to brand license agreements, supply agreements, sourcing agreements, service agreements, advertisement agreements, celebrity endorsement agreements, marketing agreements, Non-Disclosure agreements, consultant agreements, engagement letters, banking agreements, data sharing agreements, license agreements etc. Draft and review offer terms and conditions, and policies for e-commerce platforms in compliance with applicable laws. Review print, social media and other media advertisements and communications in the nature of press releases, marketing communications, seller communications to ensure compliance with applicable laws and code of conduct of the organization. Advice business partners on legal and regulatory matters including e-commerce laws, FDI laws, intellectual property laws, consumer protection laws, data protection laws, contract interpretation, breach and remedies, contract compliance requirements. Research into new regulations and legal regime of new domains of business and advice on regulatory requirements, legal risks and mitigation strategies. Work as a part of a team and contribute towards projects involving setting up policies and processes for legal risk identification and mitigation. To succeed in this role – you should have the following: A law graduate having around 7 – 9 years of overall work experience with core substantial Work experience in an E- Commerce/FMCG/Retail/ Services Company. Should be inquisitive and deeply research oriented. Need to have good stakeholder management and communication skill sets Should take ownership and accountability for the responsibilities assigned Must also have the interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with internal clients. High integrity and excellent judgment, supported by a point of view that is thought out and communicated well. Strong transactional, contract review, drafting and negotiating experience with good business/commercial acumen.
