Manager/ Senior Manager - International Business, SAVA Healthcare, Pune

About SAVA Healthcare

SAVA Healthcare Limited, founded in 2003 and headquartered in Pune, is a PIC/S and WHO GMP certified pharmaceutical manufacturer exporting a wide range of human, veterinary, and herbal formulations globally. Its international business division serves markets across Africa, CIS, Latin America, Asia, Canada, and the EU aspiring portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Business Targets

Drive international business (human and veterinary products) across assigned regions e.g. Africa, CIS, Latin America. Achieve and surpass IB sales targets.

Business Development

Identify new markets via primary secondary research. Develop strategic market entry and expansion plans, including contract manufacturing opportunities. Expand dossier portfolio and customer base.

Client Engagement Negotiation

Generate quotes, negotiate pricing and terms, follow up post registration to convert opportunities to purchase orders. Handle customer queries and complaints.

Regulatory Coordination

Liaise with internal regulatory affairs and external Health Ministries to facilitate dossier submission, product registrations, and approvals. Coordinate across departments to resolve queries.

Reporting Analytics

Prepare reports on market trends, sales, pipeline, and progress against targets. Offer insights to senior management to inform strategic decisions.

Qualifications Experience

Education

Bachelor s in Pharmacy, Business, or related field; MBA or postgraduate degree preferred.

Experience

5-12 years of business development, sales, or marketing within the pharmaceutical industry, with strong exposure to international markets.

Skills Competencies

  • Deep understanding of pharmaceutical export dynamics and regulatory frameworks
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship building skills
  • Strong market research, analytical, and strategic planning abilities
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Fluency in English; additional languages advantageous
  • Willingness to travel internationally as required

Location Context

Based in Pune (Corporate office)
Plays a key role in expanding SAVA s presence in global markets, including coordination with contract manufacturing partners and dossier-based product launches.
