Role Overview

We are seeking a highly driven and strategic Senior Manager – Intermediate Sourcing to lead sourcing operations for agro-based intermediates. The role will be responsible for identifying reliable suppliers, optimizing procurement strategies, ensuring quality compliance, and managing supplier relationships to support our business growth.

Key Accountabilities

Develop and execute sourcing strategies for agro intermediates to meet business and cost targets.
Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers while ensuring adherence to quality, compliance, and sustainability standards.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and payment terms to achieve cost optimization.
Collaborate closely with R&D, quality, supply chain, and business teams to ensure alignment of sourcing plans with business needs.
Monitor market trends, raw material price fluctuations, and competitor sourcing strategies to stay ahead.
Manage supplier relationships for long-term collaboration and performance improvement.
Ensure timely procurement and delivery of intermediates, resolving supply bottlenecks proactively.
Drive continuous improvement in sourcing processes and supplier performance metrics.

Qualifications, Experience, & Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Agriculture, or related field.
6–12 years of experience in sourcing/procurement of agro intermediates, specialty chemicals, or related industries.
Strong negotiation, vendor management, and contract management skills.
In-depth understanding of agro intermediate market dynamics and supply chain processes.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Proficiency in procurement tools, ERP systems, and MS Office Suite.
Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities.
