Position Overview


We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Senior Manager – HR & Statutory Compliance to lead our Human Resources and Compliance functions at our manufacturing facility in Malappuram. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR operations, labour laws, and statutory regulations applicable to manufacturing industries in India, ensuring full compliance and fostering a productive workplace culture.



Key Responsibilities


Human Resource Management

• Oversee end-to-end HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, and performance management.

• Develop and implement HR policies aligned with company objectives and statutory requirements.

• Manage payroll processing and ensure accuracy in salary disbursement and statutory deductions (PF, ESI, TDS, etc.).

• Handle disciplinary matters, grievances, and employee relations with fairness and transparency.

• Drive training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and retention.


Statutory Compliance

• Ensure compliance with all applicable labour laws, factory acts, and industrial relations regulations.

• Liaise with government authorities, auditors, and consultants on compliance matters.

• Maintain statutory registers, records, and documentation as per legal requirements.

• Conduct regular internal audits to verify compliance status.

• Oversee timely submission of statutory returns (PF, ESI, PT, Factory Act, etc.).


Strategic & Administrative Functions

• Support management in manpower planning and budgeting.

• Advise leadership on HR strategies and compliance risks.

• Lead HR digitization and process improvement initiatives.

• Coordinate with other departments to align HR objectives with organizational goals.



Qualifications & Experience

• MBA / Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management or Labour Law.

• Minimum 10–15 years of HR and compliance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setup.

• In-depth knowledge of labour laws, factory act, and statutory compliances.

• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency in HRMS tools and MS Office.



Preferred Attributes

• Experience handling multi-location operations or large workforce.

• Strong liaison skills with statutory and labour authorities.

• Ability to manage both strategic initiatives and day-to-day HR functions effectively.
