About the Role

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Manager – Financial Accounting to lead financial reporting, accounting operations, statutory compliance, and audit processes. The ideal candidate should bring strong experience in managing quarterly closes, financial statements, and statutory audits.

Roles and Responsibilities

Financial Accounting & Reporting

- Lead end-to-end accounting operations ensuring accuracy and compliance.

- Oversee monthly and quarterly financial closing and reporting.

- Prepare financial statements including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flows.

Quarterly Closing & Compliance

- Manage quarterly close processes and review journal entries.

- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely closing.

- Implement process improvements to enhance accuracy and timelines.

Audit Management

- Lead statutory, internal, and tax audits end-to-end.

- Liaise with auditors and ensure timely closure.

- Strengthen documentation and control frameworks.

Regulatory Filing & Compliance

- Ensure timely statutory filings under Companies Act, Income Tax, and GST.

- Oversee legal and compliance obligations impacting finance operations.

Process Excellence & Controls

- Strengthen internal controls, SOPs, and accounting policies.

- Drive automation and digitization of accounting workflows.

Stakeholder Management

- Present financial insights and audit updates to leadership.

Required Qualifications

- CA qualified (2017–2019 batch) with 7–9 years of experience.

- Strong technical knowledge in accounting standards and audits.

- Experience in quarterly and annual closing in fast-growth environments.

- Excellent analytical and communication skills.

- Start-up experience preferred.

- Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel.
