Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Gurugram for a Senior Manager – Finance & Accounts. The Senior Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily financial operations, managing accounts, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and developing financial strategies. Key tasks include budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and managing a finance team. The role also involves coordinating with other departments to support overall financial goals and objectives of the company.


Responsibilities:


Monthly Closing

Preparation of Monthly MIS

Custom Reports based on requirements of Management for KPIs

Prepare advanced dashboards and trend analysis on brokerage income, proprietary trading P&L, client-level profitability, margin utilisation, and cost–income ratios.


Guiding Team Members in daily compliance and accounting

Streamlining accounting and reporting processes

Ensuring tax compliance- GST, TDS & Income tax

Coordinating with other departments for timely and accurate accounting

Coordinating with statutory and internal auditors


Preparation of Financials- quarterly, yearly, ad-hoc

Drafting, Finalising reply to statutory notices with consolidating financial data

Identifying gaps, periodic review, and streamlining and improving SOPs and RCMs, DOA.

Ensuring IndAS compliance for different assertions in the financials, specifically Division III of CA, 2013


Supervise timely filing of SEBI/Exchange returns (NETWORTH, ARF, half-yearly net worth, client-level segregation reports, etc.

Implementation of ERP/advanced accounting software suited for broking/trading activities

Optimise tax positions in derivatives, proprietary trades


Work with business heads (Retail Broking, Institutional Desk, Algo Trading, Prop Trading) to provide financial insights for decision-making

Support management in evaluating new business opportunities, acquisitions, or cross-border ventures from a financial and regulatory lens.


Grant second-level approval for daily payment transactions, ensuring accuracy, legitimacy, and compliance with internal financial policies and guidelines.


Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Finance and Account Management
  • Strong Customer Service and Sales skills
  • Experience in Team Management
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Professional certifications such as CA or CPA are a plus
  • Experience in the financial services industry is highly desirable



Requirements

Open to travel 

  • Person should be comfortable to travel once in 15-20 days to Ludhiana for a day or two.
