This role needs continuous interaction with the PDC/PM/OEM support groups for simulation related projects

- This job pertains to do FEA analysis of Tire structures which is very essential for new product development, bring improvement in existing products and resolution of certain type of technical queries from OEM customers.
- It adds substantial benefits in the process by prediction of tire performance at the design stage, reducing number of prototypes, and making shorter time to market.

- To perform FEA analysis as and when required during design process
- Prepare detailed FEA reports and participate in team discussion
- Develop new competency and standard methodology in FEA
- Ensure FEA data management and documentation
- Resource allocation as per project priorities
- Mentor and develop FEA team members

- Correlation of FEA outcome with the physical tests
- Development of advanced methods in simulation
- Recommend suitable design changes as per FEA results
- Meet project deadlines and support on time product development

Competencies
B.Tech/M.Tech in Mechanical/ Rubber Technology (or Equivalent)Good understanding of Basics of Mechanical Engineering, Material properties of elastomers, Analytical Calculation. Knowledge of rubber material testing is an added advantage.Hand-on experience in FEA software is must. Candidate should have worked on Non-linear and dynamic analysis.

FEA software -10 to 15 Years of experience in FEA simulation of new product development, continuous improvement and field failure resolution for off highway segment tires.
