Senior Manager - Design (Print & Packaging) Location: Gurgaon Type: Full time About the Role We're looking for a creative leader with sharp design instincts to oversee all design aspects at Heads Up For Tails, from graphic and UI/UX to packaging, retail spaces, and product design. This role is key to elevating our visual identity while managing a team of talented designers. If you're an experienced design leader who can balance creative excellence with business goals and mentor talent, we'd love to have you on board. Key Responsibilities/What You Will Do Lead and mentor a team of talented designers, fostering a collaborative environment that encourages creativity and growth. Set and maintain strong creative guidelines, art direction, and brand identity across all customer touchpoints. Oversee design execution across multiple verticals—graphic design, UI/UX, packaging, print, retail, outdoor, and product design. Direct photography and visual content creation to ensure consistent, high-quality brand representation. Collaborate with marketing, product, retail, and other teams to translate business objectives into compelling design solutions. Balance multiple projects and priorities while maintaining design excellence and meeting deadlines. Present design concepts to stakeholders with clarity and confidence, advocating for creative integrity. Establish efficient design processes and workflows that enhance team productivity and output quality. Stay ahead of design trends and innovations in the pet care space, bringing fresh perspectives to our visual approach. Identify opportunities to strengthen our brand presence through thoughtful, strategic design solutions. Qualifications & Skills/What You Need Minimum 8 years of design experience across multiple disciplines, with at least 1-2 year in a leadership role. Proven expertise in various design verticals (graphic, UI/UX, packaging, print, retail, OOH). Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite; knowledge of Figma and other design tools is a plus. Strong understanding of art direction, brand development, and visual storytelling. Experience managing and developing creative talent. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Portfolio demonstrating versatility, creative problem-solving, and design thinking. Ability to balance creative vision with practical business considerations. Experience in retail, consumer goods, or the pet industry is advantageous. You will feel right at home with us if: You have strong communication and collaboration skills.
