Job Description About Us:The Corporate Networking organization within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) designs, deploys, operates, and supports employee connectivity solutions and services for Oracle. We manage Corporate Offices, On-Prem Data Centers, wired/wireless networks, WAN connectivity, and related services such as VPN and IDS/IPS. We are looking for an experienced leader with strong management skills to help us transform the corporate network and build the capabilities of our team. As a Senior Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team in the delivery and operation of critical employee connectivity services. You will manage a highly mobile, regionally dispersed team providing onsite resourcing for the organization. You will work with peers, executive management, and project managers to prioritize and optimize work loads within your team and between teams. You should be comfortable working in a fast-moving environment that requires agility and the drive to deliver. You should be comfortable taking on new challenges that develop your skills and the skills of your team. Education and Experience Required: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in a technology role. Master’s degree is an added advantage. 2+ years of direct management experience in a technology role 6+ years of experience solving complex infrastructure problems in Network and software development Experience with infrastructure products, tools, services, networking, and troubleshooting Ability to understand customer needs Ability to drive operations including incident and request management Ability to coach & mentor network engineers and software developers Strong team player, analytical thinker, and problem solver with a results-driven go getter attitude Technical and Engineering mindset to solve IT challenges Excellent communication and leadership skills Skills and Experience Preferred: Technical skillsets: Software development methodologies, Agile concepts, Network infrastructure & services (Routing, switching, firewall, Load Balancer, Wireless, SDWAN, Cloud), Python, Ansible Experience with CI/CD solutions and implementing Infrastructure as a code. Responsibilities Hire, Manage, and lead a strong technical team of engineers responsible for delivering and operating network services Coordinate with management, peers, and project managers to complete operational projects such as hardware replacements Automation mindset. Inspire teams to embrace the philosophy of "How can we automate this manual process?" Propose solutions within the infrastructure team to reduce the workload by automation Provide resource forecasting/capacity planning, training, performance management, career development, skill development Represent the Corporate Network in operational reviews and readiness exercises for new and existing services Responsible for escalation management, project and queue management, monitor progress of projects, providing technical guidance and assistance Qualifications Career Level - M3 About Us As a world leader in cloud solutions, Oracle uses tomorrow’s technology to tackle today’s challenges.
