Senior Manager Accounts

Job Description:

Seablue Shipyard is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Manager – Accounts to lead our accounting and finance operations. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in handling full-spectrum accounting functions, statutory compliance, team management, and financial reporting.

This role is critical for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of the company’s financial systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations
• Manage the month-end and year-end closing process
• Prepare financial statements, MIS reports, and cash flow forecasts
• Ensure statutory compliance (TDS, GST, Income Tax, ROC, etc.)
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audits
• Supervise and guide the accounts team
• Handle budgeting, cost control, and financial planning
• Liaise with banks, vendors, and government authorities as needed
• Implement and maintain internal financial controls and accounting policies
• Support management with strategic financial insights and reports

Candidate Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in core accounting and financial management
• Strong knowledge of Tally ERP / accounting software, taxation, and compliance
• Experience in manufacturing or industrial sectors preferred
• Sound understanding of financial principles and corporate laws
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
• Ability to lead a team and handle deadlines
• Qualification: B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter / MBA Finance (preferred)
