The Continuing Airworthiness Manager (CAM) is responsible for ensuring that all maintenance activities are conducted timely and in accordance with approved standards. You will oversee the maintenance operations carried out by CAR-145 organizations, ensuring compliance with regulations and adherence to maintenance schedules. It is your duty to establish and develop airworthiness policies, analyze the effectiveness of the Maintenance Programme, and approve aircraft documents from DGCA. Your responsibilities include monitoring maintenance activities, ensuring contracted maintenance is carried out as per work orders, and maintaining the validity of the Certificate of Airworthiness/ARC for all company-operated aircraft. You must report any maintenance-related occurrences to DGCA and aircraft manufacturers, establish maintenance planning, and ensure proper implementation of scheduled maintenance tasks. Additionally, you will be responsible for overseeing the recording of aircraft flight hours, landings, cycles, etc., maintaining accurate weight schedules, and ensuring that all maintenance activities are conducted in accordance with contracts, including those with subcontractors. To be considered for this position, you should preferably hold a CAM/QM (Form4 holder) designation and have prior experience in rotary wing aircraft such as Bell 407, H-125, and Bell 412. The CAM is nominated post holder for continuing airworthiness. He/she will, ensure that all maintenance is carried out on time and to an approved standard. Responsibilities :- a) Establishment and development of continuing airworthiness policy. b) Analysis of the effectiveness of the Maintenance Programme. c) Approval of aircraft documents from DGCA. d) CAM will monitor the maintenance activities carried by the CAR -145 & ensure maintenance work is planned and followed until compliance. e) Ensuring that all line, base and shop maintenance is contracted and carried out under work order. f) Ensure that the Certificate of Airworthiness/ARC for each aircraft operated by the company remains valid. g) Reporting any occurrences of a maintenance nature to the DGCA and the aircraft manufacturers. h) Establishing work/maintenance planning and ensuring implementation and follow up of scheduled maintenance, application of airworthiness directives, replacement of service life limited parts and component inspection to ensure that the work is carried out properly. i) Ensure that the weight schedule reflects the current empty weight and status of the aircraft in terms of optional equipment installed. j) Ensuring that all maintenance activities carried out in accordance with contract including sub-contractors. h) Oversight for the Recording of aircraft flight hours, landings, cycles etc in software/excel performed by CAM. Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis to provide financial insights to management. QUALIFICATIONS: M. Com / M.B.A. / CA Inter. or equivalent qualification. 6-8 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the Aviation industry. Proficient in MS Office suite & Tally. Strong team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Working knowledge of India Payroll taxes, State tax and Compliances. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
