Job Description

Business Development & Acquisition

Acquire new SME / Mid-Corporate clients with working capital requirements (CC/OD, Term Loans, BG/LC, WCDL, Trade Finance).
Identify business opportunities through market mapping, industry references, connectors, and existing relationships.
Structure working capital facilities based on business cash flows, industry cycles, and banking limits.

2. Portfolio Management

Manage existing portfolio to drive revenue, cross-sell, and wallet share penetration.
Conduct regular client visits, financial reviews, stock statements, receivable updates, and working capital assessment (WCA).
Track portfolio health, delinquency, account conduct, and early warning signals.

3. Credit Assessment & Proposal Preparation

Analyse financial statements, CMA data, projections, and business models.
Prepare and present credit proposals with detailed analysis (industry risk, financial ratios, banking, repayment capacity).
Liaise with credit, risk, and operations for timely sanction and disbursement.

4. Cross-Selling

Cross-sell CASA, Trade products, Treasury, CMS, Term Loans, Insurance, and other liability/asset products.
Drive fee income through LC/BG, FX, CMS, and trade products.

5. Compliance & Governance

Ensure adherence to KYC, AML, documentation, and internal audit guidelines.
Maintain high standards of compliance, portfolio hygiene, and regulatory reporting.

6. Relationship Management

Build long-term relationships with promoters, CFOs, finance teams, and key decision-makers.
Provide high-quality service levels to improve customer satisfaction and retention.
