Senior Legal Executive

As a Senior Executive in the Legal department, your role will involve various responsibilities related to contract reviews and negotiations across US, UK, and EU jurisdictions. This includes handling customer and vendor contracts such as MSAs, DPAs, order forms, SOWs, marketing and event agreements, partner agreements, and other commercial contracts (both SaaS and Non-SaaS). You will be required to provide legal advice on contractual obligations and commercial terms, attend negotiation calls with customers and vendors either as a part of a team or independently. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing data privacy matters, conducting legal research, drafting privacy-related clauses in contracts, and staying updated with global regulatory developments, particularly focusing on GDPR, DPDPA (India), and other privacy laws. Furthermore, you will review contracts, internal documents, and policies specific to the India jurisdiction and draft/maintain standard contract templates and playbooks to streamline the contracting process. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct contract reviews and negotiations across US, UK, and EU jurisdictions for customer and vendor contracts - Provide legal advice on contractual obligations and commercial terms - Attend negotiation calls with customers and vendors - Handle data privacy matters including legal research and drafting privacy-related clauses - Review contracts, internal documents, and policies specific to India - Draft and maintain standard contract templates and playbooks Qualifications Required: - Law graduate with approximately 4-6 years of experience, with at least 3 years in the IT/software industry - Strong expertise in redlining and negotiating IT/software industry-specific contracts - In-depth knowledge of data privacy laws, particularly GDPR, and experience with related documentation - Knowledge about SaaS contracts is an added advantage - Experience with legal technology tools and AI-powered legal platforms is beneficial - Understanding of legal aspects related to employment contracts and related matters in India is an added advantage - Good communication skills Please note that a five-day office presence is mandatory for this position and is non-negotiable.,
