Role Description This is a full-time on-site role located in Tamil Nadu, India for a Senior Java Developer at GGS Engineering Services. The Senior Java Developer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Java applications. Day-to-day tasks include writing well-designed, efficient, and testable code, conducting software analysis, programming, testing, and debugging, as well as managing Java and Java EE application development. Additional responsibilities include ensuring designs comply with specifications, preparing and producing releases of software components, and recommending changes to improve established Java application processes. Qualifications • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. • 5-7 years of experience in Java development, with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns. • Proficiency in AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, CloudFormation, etc. • Experience with Spring Boot and other Java frameworks. • Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases. • Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. • Experience with CI/CD tools and processes. • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
