Job Description

Job Title: Senior Infrastructure Planner / Urban Planner / ExpertLocation: UjjainEducational Qualification:

· Postgraduate degree in Urban Design or Environmental Planning from a recognized institution.

Experience Requirements:

· Minimum 10 years of professional experience in the Urban or Infrastructure Planning sector.

· Must have worked on at least 3 projects in one or more of the following areas:

o Program Management Support

o Project Management Consultancy (PMC)

o Deliverable-based Assignments for preparation of Designs and Detailed Project Reports (DPRs)

Relevant Project Sectors:

· Urban Infrastructure

· Housing

· Statutory Town Planning / Development Schemes

· Land Pooling Schemes

· Transit-Oriented Development (TOD)

· PPP Transaction Advisory Projects

Key Responsibilities:

· Strategic Planning:

o Develop and implement long-term infrastructure development strategies aligned with urban planning and regional development goals.

· Feasibility Analysis:

o Conduct technical, financial, and environmental feasibility studies for proposed infrastructure and urban development projects.

· Master Planning:

o Prepare, review, and update master plans for transportation, utilities, housing, and other urban infrastructure systems.

· Stakeholder Coordination:

o Work closely with government agencies, consultants, and community stakeholders to ensure integrated and inclusive planning processes.

· Procurement Support:

o Assist in the preparation of tender documents, evaluation of bids, and contractor selection.

· Compliance & Quality Assurance:

o Ensure all infrastructure projects comply with applicable legal, environmental, zoning, and safety regulations.

· GIS & Data Analysis:

o Utilize Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and spatial data analysis to support planning, mapping, and decision-making.

· Cost Estimation & Financial Planning:

o Provide cost estimates, assist in budget planning, and support investment planning for infrastructure development.

· Monitoring & Evaluation:

o Track project implementation progress, measure outcomes, and ensure alignment with defined planning objectives.

· Risk Management:

o Identify project risks and propose effective mitigation strategies to minimize delays and cost overruns.

Key Skills:

· Urban planning and infrastructure policy knowledge

· Proficiency in GIS and planning software (e.g., AutoCAD, ArcGIS)

· Strong analytical, feasibility assessment, and report writing skills

· Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities

· Familiarity with smart city concepts, sustainability principles, and PPP models

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹365,153.62 - ₹1,053,996.02 per year
