Job Description

Role Overview: As a Senior Human Resources Generalist at Shingora in Ludhiana, you will be responsible for managing HR functions, implementing policies, and overseeing employee benefits administration. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the smooth functioning of the HR department and fostering a positive work environment. Key Responsibilities: - Source and screen potential candidates through various channels such as job boards, social media, and employee referrals. - Conduct initial phone screens, schedule interviews, and coordinate the interview process. - Conduct background checks, reference verifications, extend job offers, and negotiate employment terms. - Plan and execute employee onboarding programs including orientation, welcome kits, and buddy programs. Employee Retention: - Conduct employee engagement surveys, analyze results, and implement initiatives to improve morale and satisfaction. - Address employee concerns, resolve conflicts promptly, and monitor turnover rates for areas of improvement. Training & Development: - Identify training needs, develop training programs such as workshops, seminars, and online courses. - Conduct training sessions, evaluate their effectiveness, maintain training records, and track employee development progress. - Assist in developing employee career paths to enhance skills and growth opportunities. Performance Appraisal: - Assist in the development and implementation of performance appraisal processes. - Collect, analyze performance data, provide support to managers in conducting reviews, and track employee performance goals. - Prepare performance reports for management review to ensure transparency and accountability. Administrative Support: - Maintain employee records, HR documentation including personnel files, and leave records to ensure compliance. - Stay updated on relevant HR laws and regulations to adhere to legal requirements and best practices. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. - 5+ years of experience in a generalist HR role. - Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). - Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities with the capacity to work independently and as part of a team.,
