1. Payroll Processing:
Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll for employees, including reviewing timesheets, calculating overtime, deductions, and benefits.
Collaborate with finance and accounting departments to reconcile payroll
discrepancies and resolve any issues.
Stay updated on payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance and recommend process improvements.
2. Performance Management:
Coordinate and assist in the performance management process, including goal-setting, performance evaluations, and feedback sessions.
Provide guidance to managers and employees on performance-related matters, including addressing performance concerns, developing performance improvement plans, and recognizing outstanding achievements.
Monitor and track performance metrics and provide reports to management for decision-making purposes.
3. Employee Relations:
Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries, concerns, and grievances, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.
Conduct investigations into employee complaints or misconduct allegations, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to legal requirements.
Provide guidance and support to managers in handling employee relations issues, including disciplinary actions, terminations, and workplace conflict resolution.
4.HR Policies and Procedures:
Develop, implement, and communicate HR policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Regularly review and update employee handbooks, HR manuals, and related documents.
Provide training and guidance to employees and managers on HR policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
5. Onboarding:
Conduct new employee orientations and ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
6. HR Data Management and Reporting:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal information, employment history, benefits enrollment, and performance evaluations.
Generate HR reports and metrics for management, providing insights and
recommendations for improvement.
Ensure data integrity and confidentiality, complying with data protection regulations.
Bachelors degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
3-8 years of progressive experience in HR roles, with a focus on payroll processing, performance management, and employee relations.
Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
Experience with payroll software and HRIS systems.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus
