Role Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and client-focused Functional Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in analyzing business requirements, designing functional solutions, and supporting system implementations. You will act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure project success. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Lead Business Central Implementations : Manage the full project lifecycle, including requirement gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment. Consulting & Solution Design : Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for Business Central, advising clients on best practices and helping them optimize their ERP solutions. Client Engagement : Work directly with clients to understand business processes, define project scopes, and provide tailored Business Central solutions that meet their unique needs. Customization & Configuration : Configure and customize Business Central modules (Financials, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Sales, etc.) to suit client requirements. Integration : Oversee the integration of Business Central with third-party systems and other Microsoft tools like Power BI, PowerApps, and Office 365. Training & Documentation : Develop and deliver user training sessions, creating clear documentation and user manuals to ensure smooth adoption of the system. Project Management : Collaborate with project managers to ensure that project deliverables meet timelines, budgets, and client expectations. Continuous Improvement : Provide feedback and recommendations for improvements to both the product and the services offered by the company. Mentoring : Provide guidance and support to junior consultants, helping them develop their functional expertise and project delivery skills. Key Skills & Qualifications Experience : At least 5 years of hands-on experience implementing and supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, with a proven track record of delivering successful projects. Functional Expertise : Strong understanding of Business Central modules such as Financial Management, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, Sales, Procurement, and Reporting. Project Management : Experience in managing full project lifecycles, from gathering business requirements to post-go-live support. Consulting & Communication : Excellent client-facing skills, with the ability to articulate complex solutions in a clear and understandable manner to non-technical stakeholders. Customization & Configuration : Proficiency in customizing Business Central workflows, reports, and interfaces to meet client-specific needs. Integration : Experience with integrating Business Central with external systems using APIs, web services, or other integration tools. Industry Knowledge : Familiarity with key industries such as manufacturing, retail, distribution, or services is a plus. Certifications : Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications (e.g., Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant Associate) are highly desirable. Tools & Technologies : Strong experience in working with Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, PowerApps, Power Automate) is a plus.
