Key Responsibilities Build a Flawless User Experience: Design, build, and maintain the NPrep mobile application for both iOS and Android using Flutter. You will be responsible for creating a beautiful, intuitive, and highly performant app that students love to use every day. Own the Mobile Application: Take complete ownership of the mobile app lifecycle – from concept and development to testing, deployment on the App Store/Play Store, and monitoring. You will be the guardian of our app's quality, ensuring a smooth, crash-free experience. Lead Mobile Development & Best Practices: Champion high-quality, clean, and maintainable code. You’ll set the standard for mobile development, conduct insightful code reviews, and mentor junior developers, fostering a culture of excellence. Innovate on the Mobile Front: Drive the implementation of new, engaging features – from interactive quizzes and video players to community forums and performance dashboards. You’ll experiment with new Flutter capabilities to keep our app on the cutting edge. Collaborate with Product & Backend Teams: Work closely with the product team to translate wireframes and product requirements into pixel-perfect, functional features. You'll collaborate with backend engineers to define and integrate APIs, ensuring a seamless flow of data. Drive App Performance & Quality: Obsess over performance. You will profile the app, identify and fix memory leaks, and optimize rendering to ensure a buttery-smooth experience, even on low-end devices. You'll lead the charge on automated testing to ensure rock-solid reliability. What We’re Looking For 3+ Years of Mobile Development Experience: You have a strong background in mobile development, with a proven track record of building and shipping production apps using Flutter . Deep Flutter & Dart Expertise: You are a master of the Flutter framework and the Dart language. You have strong experience with state management solutions (e.g., BLoC, Provider, Riverpod), building custom widgets, and working with platform-specific integrations. A Keen Eye for UI/UX: You don't just write code; you care deeply about the user experience. You have a knack for turning design mockups (Figma, etc.) into beautiful, responsive, and animated user interfaces. API & Backend Integration: You are highly proficient in working with RESTful APIs, handling JSON data, and collaborating with backend teams to build robust, data-driven features. Testing & Quality Advocate: You believe in the power of testing. Experience with unit, widget, and integration testing in Flutter is a must. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for mobile apps is a huge plus. Startup Attitude: Resourceful, proactive, and ready to hustle. You take ownership, move fast, and thrive in an environment where you are building a product from the ground up. (If you have published apps on the App/Play Store, we want to see them!) Education Background: A degree in Computer Science or a related field is great, but your portfolio of work and a strong GitHub profile matter more. Why NPrep?
