About the company

We are an activated carbon manufacturer specializing in powdered activated carbon (PAC) for water and wastewater treatment, air and gas purification, industrial process purification, and pharmaceutical decolorization/purification applications, operating from Hoshiarpur, Punjab.


About the role

This is an on‑site, field‑intensive B2B sales role driving growth for PAC products and services across North and West India through frequent client/plant visits, trials, and technical consultations. Relocation to Hoshiarpur is required; activated carbon/PAC experience is preferred.


Key responsibilities

Own full‑cycle field sales: prospecting, discovery, technical scoping, proposals, negotiations, and closing within the assigned territory.

Technical application selling: recommend PAC grades and specs by application (e.g., iodine number, mesh size, dosing ranges) for water, wastewater, air/gas, and pharma purification/decolourization use cases.

Plan and execute plant trials, PAC dosing studies, sampling, and performance documentation; coordinate supply schedules and any media changeouts.

Build territory plans, manage channel partners, participate in trade shows; maintain accurate CRM pipeline, forecasting, and reporting cadence.

Conduct regular site visits to municipal/industrial STPs/ETPs and pharma/API/formulation plants; liaise with operations, QA/QC, EHS, production, and procurement stakeholders.


Minimum qualifications

5+ years of B2B field sales/marketing in industrial consumables or chemicals with consistent quota attainment.

Technical acumen on PAC: adsorption basics, iodine/methylene blue values, mesh sizes, safe handling, and typical dosing practices.

Proficiency with CRM and structured forecasting; strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills; readiness for frequent travel.


Preferred qualifications

Prior sales experience in activated carbon (PAC) or chemicals for water/wastewater, air/gas, food & beverage, or pharmaceutical applications.

Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Environmental Engineering, or related field; experience collaborating with QA/Regulatory at client sites.


Location, travel, relocation

Workplace: On‑site at Hoshiarpur, Punjab; field travel across the assigned territory; relocation to Hoshiarpur required.

Travel: Regular intra‑state and inter‑state client/plant visits; occasional trade fairs and conferences.


Compensation and benefits
