Laboratory Technician (Part-Time)

As a Lab Technician, you will be responsible for testing raw materials (coal) and finished activated carbon products to ensure they meet our rigorous quality standards. You will play a vital role in maintaining the consistency and efficiency of our manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform standardized testing on coal and activated carbon (e.g., Iodine value, Ash content, Moisture analysis, pH, and Particle size distribution).
• Maintain accurate logs of all test results and prepare daily quality reports.
• Calibrate and maintain laboratory equipment to ensure precise measurements.
• Monitor production samples and alert the production team of any deviations from quality benchmarks.
• Ensure the laboratory environment is clean, organized, and compliant with safety protocols.

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree (Graduation). Candidates with a degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related science field are highly preferred.
• Experience: Prior experience working in a laboratory setting is required.
• Knowledge: Basic understanding of coal properties and the activated carbon manufacturing process.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with titration, weighing scales, ovens, and furnace operations.
• Attributes: High attention to detail, strong analytical thinking, and the ability to work independently.

Pay: From ₹10,000.00 per month

Expected hours: 18 – 20 per week
