Senior Fashion Consultant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a creative and experienced Senior Fashion Designer to lead and inspire our design team. This role is responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and developing fashion collections that align with our brand identity and market trends. The ideal candidate has a strong aesthetic sense, technical knowledge, and a passion for innovation in design.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design process from concept to final production, including mood boards, sketches, fabric selection, and fittings.
• Oversee seasonal collections (e.g. SS, AW, Festive, Bridal, etc.) and ensure alignment with brand vision and customer needs.
• Conduct trend forecasting, market analysis, and competitor research to inform design strategy.
• Guide and mentor junior designers, assistant designers, and interns.
• Collaborate with merchandising, production, and marketing teams to meet deadlines and ensure collection viability.
• Attend sourcing trips, fashion events, and fabric shows to stay updated with global trends and innovations.
• Maintain up-to-date tech packs, spec sheets, and design archives.
• Ensure fit, quality, and functionality standards are met across all garments.
• Present collections to internal teams, stakeholders, and clients when needed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or related field.
• 6+ years of relevant experience in fashion/apparel design, preferably in women’s wear, couture, or a similar segment.
• Strong portfolio showcasing design skills and successful collections.
• Excellent understanding of garment construction, fabrics, and finishing techniques.
• Proficiency in design software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, CLO 3D, etc.).
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Detail-oriented with a keen eye for trends, color, silhouette, and styling.

Preferred Qualities:

• Experience in luxury or bespoke fashion segment.
• Familiarity with sustainable design practices.
• Passion for innovation, storytelling, and craftsmanship in fashion.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹13,981.66 - ₹43,111.57 per month
