Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Fabric Merchandiser with strong expertise in woven, knits, and denim fabrics. The role involves fabric sourcing, vendor coordination, cost negotiation, quality control, and timely delivery to support production and branding requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle end-to-end fabric merchandising for woven, knits, and denim categories
• Source fabrics from approved vendors and develop new suppliers when required
• Coordinate with design, production, and quality teams for fabric approvals
• Negotiate fabric costs and ensure budget adherence
• Ensure fabric quality, testing, and compliance with buyer standards
• Track fabric timelines and ensure on-time delivery for production
• Resolve fabric-related issues during sampling and bulk production
• Maintain accurate records of fabric details, approvals, and consumption

Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of woven, knits, and denim fabrics
• Proven experience in fabric merchandising, preferably in the apparel industry
• Good understanding of fabric sourcing, costing, and quality parameters
• Strong communication and vendor management skills
• Ability to handle multiple styles and timelines efficiently

Experience:

• Relevant experience as a Fabric Merchandiser (senior-level experience preferred)
• Min 5 - 10 yrs
