Role Summary
We are seeking a high-energy, committed
Senior Executive
to execute and support the strategy for securing funding from Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) mandates, Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs), and Foundations
. This role is crucial for scaling the deployment of our EdTech solutions to underprivileged K-12 students in the Indian market
in collaboration/partnership with social sector organisations. The person in this role will be responsible for the entire cycle of fundraising for Education, from pipeline creation and lead qualification to proposal negotiation and deal closure, ensuring significant revenue and growth in the social sector portfolio. Primary focus will also include searching for RFP opportunities in the development sector for Education, outbound sales, proposal drafting, partner due diligence and client relationship management in pre-sales and post-sales stages.
Core Responsibilities (Execution and Support)
1. Target Account Sales Pipeline Management
a. Lead Generation Qualification:
Conduct detailed, ongoing, targeted research to identify and qualify new potential partners (CSR, Foundations - Domestic International, and NGOs) whose mandates align with K-12 education, digital literacy, and social equity in India.
b. RFP/Opportunity Management:
Proactively search for and respond to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Expression of Interest (EOIs) in the development sector for Education, coordinating all aspects of the bid process to ensure timely and competitive submissions, and positioning iDream Education as the preferred EdTech solution provider
c. Pipeline Ownership:
Build and rigorously manage a robust sales pipeline using the companys CRM, ensuring accurate forecasting and proactive follow-up to move opportunities from initial contact to closure.
d. Network Relationship Sales:
Proactively leverage and expand a personal and professional network within the Indian and international social edtech ecosystem to secure high-level meetings and drive introductory fundraising conversations with key decision-makers (e.g., Corporate CSR Heads, Non-profit and Foundation Directors).
2. Solution pitching and deal closure
a. Customised Fundraising Strategy:
Design and deliver compelling, tailored fundraising and grant proposals, and product demonstration along with program management capabilities, and presentations that clearly articulate the ROI and Social Impact value of our EdTech solutions.
b. Negotiation and Closure:
Participate in proposal negotiations, finalise terms, and execute agreements to successfully close deals and meet monthly/quarterly/annual sales goals.
c. Stakeholder Engagement:
Proactively network and secure introductory fundraising conversations with key decision-makers (e.g., Corporate CSR Heads, NGO/Foundation Trustees/Management, Directors, Program heads) to drive growth.
3. Sales Support and Documentation
a. Proposal Development:
Draft and customise high-quality, persuasive grant applications, funding proposals and presentations that clearly and directly connect our impact model to the Partner/Client specific objectives, mandate and CSR/Development goals.
b. Collateral Coordination:
Handle all client/partner-facing communications related to fundraising, coordinating the drafting of necessary agreements and internal documentation post-closure.
c. Upselling Account Growth:
Maintain post-sales support and a feedback loop with key partners to identify opportunities for upselling, renewal, and expanding the scope of existing projects.
d. Campaign Support:
Support and coordinate various corporate fundraising campaigns and events (Online/Offline), handling external communication and coordinating logistics as required.
4. Partnership Management and Due Diligence
a. Due Diligence:
Conduct thorough due diligence
on potential partner organisations (NGOs, implementing agencies) as per the companys assessment framework to ensure credibility and compliance before onboarding.
b. Documentation Coordination:
Handle client/partner facing communications and facilitate the drafting of necessary documents/agreements with partners, coordinating closely with internal teams.
c. Program Support:
Provide dedicated feedback loop and post sales / upselling support
to Business Operations team as needed for existing as well as new initiatives, ensuring effective implementation, training and program delivery.
d. Non-Profit Collaboration:
Demonstrate direct experience or strong exposure to working effectively with non-profits, CSR companies and Foundations
to build and manage a network for collaboration.
5. Reporting and Internal/External Communication
a. Impact Tracking and Feedback Reports:
Keep a tab on the overall progress of the program/implementation via periodic analysis of usage data and other parameters to measure impact (e.g., student usage, learning outcomes and other relevant metrics as prescribed for the program/solutions). Monitor the preparation and sharing of accurate and timely feedback emails, monthly reports/presentations
from the Business Operations and Impact team for corporate partners and program funders, detailing the social and educational impact achieved.
b. Communication Ownership:
Own the day-to-day internal and external communications
on the Social sector growth portfolio, collaborating with cross-functional teams (Product, Business Ops, Marketing) to gather and disseminate updates and success stories of impact.
c. Ecosystem-Led Content Strategy:
Provide data-backed input, field intel, donor objections, sector priorities to Marketing to shape thought-leadership content, monthly content calendar and collateral (videos, brochures, blogs) that address funder challenges and improve top-of-funnel engagement and qualified lead quality
Required Qualifications, Experience, and Personality
Experience and Skills
- 2-3 years of proven experience in CSR / Development sector fundraising, program pitching, business development, or partnership management, with a clear focus on the Education segment.
- Strong, direct exposure to working in the Indian market with a demonstrated network in CSR, foundations, or non-profits is essential.
- Mandatory requirement to be based in Gurgaon city.
- Must be ready to Travel based on business needs.
- Strong commitment to work towards the upliftment of underprivileged children in India through education.
- Demonstrated experience in raising funds for charitable causes, particularly for social impact in Education.
- Excellent Communications skills, both written and verbal.
- Proven ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Strong Presentation Skills to effectively pitch programs.
- Capability to produce high-quality Documentation (proposals, reports, etc.).
- Ability to Collaborate effectively with internal teams (marketing, impact, and product).
- Ability to interpret data and use basic Analytical Skills to assess opportunities.
- Working knowledge of CSR priorities, reports, compliance, and due diligence.
- Proficient with Google Workspace/MS Office, basic CRM hygiene, and project trackers such as ClickUp, Asana, Notion, etc.
- Fluency in English is mandatory in spoken as well as written formats.
