Senior Embedded Hardware Engineer

Job Title: Senior Hardware Engineer (Tech Lead) Years of Experience: 4+ Years Key Responsibilities: As a Senior Hardware Engineer, you will play a key leadership role in the Hardware Business Unit, overseeing independent projects and ensuring the delivery of high-quality embedded products. Your responsibilities will include: · Leadership & Management: o Leading and managing small teams or independent hardware projects with minimal supervision. o Driving the execution of projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery and meeting quality standards. · Hardware Development: o Developing high-quality embedded products using industry best practices. o Contributing to architecture definition, detailed design, and the complete hardware development lifecycle, including validation and compliance. o Designing electronic products with a focus on the power domain and addressing complex design challenges. · Technical Collaboration & Innovation: o Providing innovative solutions to complex design challenges. o Conducting high-level requirement analysis and engaging in technical discussions with internal and client teams. o Maintaining effective client communication through regular project reviews. Technical Experience Required: · Hardware Development Lifecycle: o Comprehensive understanding of all stages of the Hardware Product Development Lifecycle. · Processor/Controller Experience: o Proficiency in working with processors/controllers such as ST, Microchip, TI, Freescale, and NXP. · Design & Debugging: o Hands-on experience with high-speed board designing and multi-layer board design. o Signal integrity analysis using tools like HyperLynx. o Board bring-up and debugging. o Analog/mixed-signal design, signal conditioning, and metering design. · Interface Familiarity: o Experience with interfaces such as CAN, USB 3.0, PCIe, MIPI, I2C, SPI, and UART (preferred). · Compliance & Tools: o Knowledge of EMI/EMC compliance processes. o Proficiency in design tools like ORCAD, ALLEGRO, ALTIUM, and PADS. o Familiarity with lab instruments such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, function generators, and logic analyzers. Desired Candidate Profile: · Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail. · Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. · Effective communication skills to interact with clients and cross-functional teams.
