Position: Senior Electrical Engineer – Oil & Gas

Qualification: BE-EEE

Experience: 10-15 Years - Oil & Gas Experience.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to lead and manage electrical engineering activities for oil and gas projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the design, development of electrical systems in hazardous environments, ensuring compliance with industry codes and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise electrical engineering design for oil and gas facilities (e.g., substations, MCCs, power distribution, grounding, lighting, and cathodic protection).
• Develop and review technical specifications, data sheets, load calculations, and single-line diagrams.
• Oversee and participate in FEED, detailed engineering, and EPC phases of projects.
• Perform power system studies: load flow, short circuit, arc flash, relay coordination, and motor starting analysis.
• Ensure all electrical designs meet IEC, IEEE, NEC, API, NFPA, ATEX, and other relevant standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (mechanical, instrumentation, process, civil) to ensure integrated project delivery.
• Conduct site surveys, inspections, and commissioning support for both greenfield and brownfield projects.
• Review vendor documents, ensure technical compliance, and assist in procurement activities.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Interface with clients, consultants, and regulatory bodies as needed.

• Experience with HV/MV/LV systems, generators, UPS, VFDs, switchgear, and motor controls.

• Should be able to develop single line diagrams, protection diagrams, schematic diagrams, general arrangement drawings, load schedules, cable schedules, etc.
• Should be able to prepare layout drawings such as earthing and lightning layouts, cable routing layouts, cable tray routing layouts, small power and lighting layouts, equipment layouts, etc.
