Job Title: Senior Discovery Developer / Senior Implementation Specialist Experience: 10–15 Years Location: Noida, Lucknow (On-Site) Employment Type: Full-time Job Summary: We are seeking a seasoned and highly motivated professional with 10–15 years of experience in IT Discovery tools implementation and product development. The ideal candidate will play a dual role combining technical expertise in Discovery product development, implementation and few responsibilities of a Product Owner for HCL SX Discovery platform. This role involves active contribution to product development, sprint planning, and coordination across development, QA, and customer-facing teams. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the Development & implementation of Discovery tool HCL SX Discovery, from requirements gathering to delivery. Leverage prior hands-on experience with at least one of the major discovery platforms (like ServiceNow Discovery, BMC Discovery, Device42, Micro Focus Universal Discovery/ OpenText Universal Discovery, IBM TADDM). Oversee end-to-end Development of the product and Discovery implementation projects for customers using SX Discovery. Identify, define, and manage user stories (identify discovery tool features) and ensure alignment with product roadmap. Coordinate closely with development teams to explain stories, clarify requirements and finalize technical designs. Conduct customer workshops and provide product demos. Define Discovery-related features and enhancements, based on competitive analysis and industry trends. Assist in sprint planning, prioritization, and act as a Scrum Master/PO when required. Drive product innovation by identifying gaps and proposing new functionalities or enhancements aligned with Discovery best practices. Ensure effective communication with internal and external stakeholders, including customers, developers, testers, and leadership. Required Skills & Qualifications: 10–15 years of overall IT experience with significant exposure to Discovery tool Development and its implementation. Proven experience in at least one Discovery solution: ServiceNow Discovery, BMC Discovery (ADDM), Device42, Micro Focus Universal Discovery/ OpenText Universal Discovery, or IBM TADDM. Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, CI (Configuration Item) mapping, and service dependencies. Experience in Agile methodologies with working knowledge of Scrum, backlog grooming, sprint planning. Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills. Ability to work independently and drive multiple parallel initiatives with minimal supervision. Experience in customer engagement including workshops, demos, and requirement discussions. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Preferred/Good-to-Have Skills: Prior experience as a Product Owner or Scrum Master. Experience with custom tool development or platform enhancement projects. Familiarity with ITSM/CMDB platforms and integrations. Basic understanding or experience with Python or JavaScript—enough to read and understand scripts or collaborate effectively with development teams.
