Job Description

Location: Mumbai 1. Strategic Planning: • Develop and implement comprehensive media strategies that align with client goals and objectives. • Conduct market research and analyze media trends to inform strategic planning. • Collaborate with the creative and account management teams to ensure integrated campaign execution. 2. Media Buying and Negotiation: • Negotiate and purchase advertising space across various across digital media channels. • Build and maintain relationships with media vendors and partners. • Ensure cost-effective media buying practices to maximize client ROI. 3. Campaign Management: • Oversee the execution and optimization of media campaigns. • Monitor campaign performance and provide regular reports to clients and internal stakeholders. • Ensure all campaigns are delivered on 9me and within budget. 4. Profit and Loss Management: • Oversee the P&L for the media planning and buying business unit. • Develop and implement strategies to drive profitability and revenue growth. • Monitor financial performance, including revenue, costs, and profitability. • Identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue enhancement. • Prepare and present financial reports to senior management. 5. Client Relationship Management: • Act as the primary point of contact for media-related client inquiries and issues. • Present media strategies and campaign results to clients. • Ensure client satisfaction and retention through effective communication and service delivery. 6. Budget Management: • Manage and allocate media budgets efficiently. • Track media expenditures and ensure accurate billing and reconciliation. 7. Performance Analysis and Reporting: • Utilize analytics tools to measure and analyze campaign performance. • Provide actionable insights and recommendations for campaign improvement. • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for clients and senior management. 8. Leadership and Management: • Lead, mentor, and develop the media planning and buying team. • Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team. • Oversee the day-to-day opera9ons of the media planning and buying department. Requirement Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus. 12+ years of experience overall Minimum of 12 years of experience in media planning and buying, with at least 7 years in a leadership role. In-depth knowledge of media planning and buying processes across various channels. Proven track record of managing large-scale media budgets and successful campaigns. Strong negotiation and vendor management skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in media planning and analytics tools.
