Job Purpose:

To lead and manage the design development of retail and turnkey interior projects from concept to execution, ensuring design intent, functionality, budget, and timelines are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design Development:

• Lead design solutions for retail outlets, showrooms, and commercial turnkey projects.
• Interpret client briefs and translate them into innovative, workable design concepts.
• Prepare and review technical drawings, BOQs, GFCs, and 3D visualizations.

• Project Coordination:

• Coordinate with project managers, clients, vendors, and site teams to ensure design execution aligns with approved drawings.
• Ensure that all design documentation is completed and approved on time.

• Quality & Compliance:

• Ensure adherence to safety standards, material specifications, and industry best practices.
• Perform site visits to assess design implementation quality and resolve issues in real-time.

• Team Leadership:

• Mentor junior designers and drafters; review and provide feedback on their work.
• Allocate tasks and monitor workload within the design team.

Requirements:

• Education:

  Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical engineering, Interior Design, or related field.

• Experience:

  6–10 years of hands-on experience in interior design and execution, with strong exposure to retail formats and turnkey project delivery.

• Technical Skills:

• Proficient in Solidworks, AutoCAD, SketchUp and other technical software will be cherry on top.
• Strong knowledge of materials, construction techniques, services integration (MEP), and modular furniture systems.

• Soft Skills:

• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
• Creative problem-solving and leadership capabilities.

Preferred:

• Experience with premium/luxury retail brands or corporate interiors.
• Familiarity with vendor management and value engineering practices.
